The Delhi gang rape - A barbaric act

The Delhi gang rape refer to the assault and rape of a young woman of 23 years old on 16th of December 2012. After watching a film in South Delhi in the early evening, the woman and a male companion boarded a bus which was driven as a joyride, thinking it was a public bus. The only other passengers were five men who were friends of the drive. They attacked the pair and gang raped the female victim who died thirteen days later while undergoing emergency treatment in Singapore for brain and gastrointestinal damage. She was initially taken to Safdarjang Hospital to receive multiple surgeries and to be placed on mechanical ventilation before being moved to Singapore on the 26th of December for further treatment, where she died three days later...
