Voici le livre de chevet de tous les acteurs,
encore aujourd'hui. Publié en 1936, vivant et
pédagogique, écrit sous la forme d'un journal intime
tenu par un élève de Constantin Stanislavski,
il montre comment être un bon acteur. Tous les
aspects sont abordés : l'action, la créativité, la
concentration, la relaxation des muscles, le travail
en groupe, la mémoire, etc. Stanislavski avait une
obsession : comment jouer juste, jouer vrai. Ce
livre est sa méthode. Fondée sur l'émotion, elle a
révolutionné le jeu de l'acteur et donné naissance
à l'Actor's Studio.
