Riassunto

Lust braucht Rehabilitation, denn der Architektur angemessen ist nicht bloss, was als konzeptionell kohärent und kultiviert beschrieben werden kann, sondern diejenige Denkform, die der Komplexität des Menschlichen umfassend nachkommt. Die gefühlstote Konstruktion einer Glaubwürdigkeit leugnet die leidenschaftliche, intuitiv richtige Entscheidung. Spontan sein ist Lust. Entsagen wir dem Paradigma der Ratio, entdecken wir in der Lüsternheit die verkappten Potentiale, um die Grenzen des Normativen zu überwinden. Das Wundervolle, Einfühlsame darf den Thron übernehmen, der unter den Ärschen der Geschwister Unlust und Verstand langsam erkaltet ist. In dem Zerwürfnis zwischen Verantwortung und Träumerei stehen wir ein für eine Neuaushandlung des Gleichgewichts von Ratio und Lust.

Lust needs rehabilitation, as architecture not only entails what can be described as deliberate and cultivated, but a form of thought that accedes to human complexity. Humaneness is achieved by doing what is intuitively right and subsequently imprecise. To be spontaneous is to lust. If in lust lies the potential to exceed the limits of the normative, it could lead the way to overcoming a rationale driven by logic, in favour of an attitude that goes beyond intellectual thought. Let the spectacular warm the throne that grew cold under the derrières of logic and reason. In the rift between responsibility and reverie we propose renegotiating the territory between sense and sensibility.
