Informationen zum Autor Ilaria Marchesi is Associate Professor of Classics and Comparative Literature at Hofstra University. Her research interests range from Latin Satire to Roman Epistolography, and she is currently working on the satirical aspects in Martial's epigrams. She is the author of The Art of Pliny's Letters: A Poetics of Allusion in the Private Correspondence (2008).
