For untold reasons he sought a more respectable qualification in Ireland of all places, but then UCD gave him an English degree at the price of a Dublin accent and suddenly the leather pants seemed ridiculous. Unbroken in spirit and wardrobe, however, he moved to Scotland, a country with a long history and keen appreciation of sartorial grandeur and sexy accents.
