This book explores the field of organizational career management for the highly educated workforce of large organizations in the current Dutch career landscape. Organizational career management is an important point on the organizational agenda. Theoretical and empirical research, by interviewing prominent HR professionals, on career management in The Netherlands led to several relevant and interesting conclusions and recommendations. Some main topics of this book are the goal(s) of organizational career management, the balance between individual and organizational career management, changed individual career needs and the importance of a continuous career conversation between the individual employee and the organization. Laurens Pols started his academic education at Tilburg University. During his bachelor Business Administration, he discovered that he wants to graduate at a business focused HRM Master, which was provided by the University of Amsterdam. He graduated by writing a thesis on Career Management in The Netherlands.
