The US emerged as the sole super power after the demise of USSR in 1989. It proclaimed the New World Order, to assert its hegemony. While China emerged as a rising economic power with the dawn of new century. It has also developed its soft power in different regions of the world. There is a debate among the scholars and policy makers all over the world that whether both powers would continue the policy of reconciliation or would enter into another rivalry like Cold War. This book is a study of multifaceted relationship between China and the U.S. with emphasis on the dynamics of commercial relations and technology transfers. It focuses that how trade and commercial relations have made the economies of both China and the U.S. highly interdependent on each other. How does economic interdependence between them help to resolve their issues amicably. Although the answers to these question are not straight forward, but this book is a good effort to study this sensitive relations. Nonetheless the nature of their bilateral relationship would shape the international scenario in the twenty-first century.
