Miranda July, 1974 in Barre (Vermont) geboren, ist Filmemacherin, Künstlerin und Schriftstellerin. Ihre Arbeiten wurden schon im Museum of Modern Art und auf der Biennale in Venedig gezeigt. Bei den Spielfilmen "Ich und du und alle, die wir kennen" (2005) und "The Future" (2011) schrieb sie das Drehbuch, führte Regie und spielte die Hauptrolle.
