Faris is currently the Deputy Dean of Office of Corporate Strategy & Quality Assurance in International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), and also an Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department. He obtained his BSc, MSc, and PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He has more than 100 scientific publications.
