Denise Holmes is an illustrator and designer who lives in Chicago. She illustrated If I Wrote A Book About You by Stephany Aulenback and The Yoga Game by the Sea by Kathy Beliveau, both published by Simply Read Books. While working on this book in the middle of a cold and snowy winter, Denise lived in her drawings counting the days until she could be with her family in their community garden.
