The book reviews and summarizes the theories of multiculturalism and analyzes the elements of the models. It draws up the main questions of multiethnic societies, highlights the problems and points at the possibilities and limits of multicultural theories. Examining several examples on special social policies, it focuses on Australia as best practice. Australia had a long way from White Australia policy to the multicultural one. Analyzing the road to multiculturalism and the results of the policy, this book takes the past 50 years of the country into a wider perspective linking foreign policy, economic development and social transformations.

She is an associate professor at Faculty of Law, Karoli Gaspar University of the Reformed Church in Hungary. She obtained a Master of Science in Economics degree and a PhD in Political Sciences from Budapest Corvinus University, Hungary. Her topic is the cultural aspects of international economics and development.
