Andy Ellis is a writer and illustrator of children's picture books, but is also a fine artist, specialising in landscapes. He has had over fifty titles published, and his books have been translated into seven languages. He has also been involved in the creation of the animation series Astro Farm and The Wombles. He lives in London with his wife and two young children. When Lulu Went to the Zoo is his first book for Andersen Press.
