Elaine's career spanned over twenty years and included modeling in designer shows and conventions, appearances in print advertising and teaching in a modeling school.
Elaine McNamara's story is not a tell-all about the gangsters and Hollywood Stars who have dominated the legends of Las Vegas, nor is it a commentary about the "good old days." As a teenager, Elaine Cali McNamara had no idea what a blessing Las Vegas would be for
her. She shares about her teenage in this exciting city as well as her fashion modeling career
during the "Golden Era" of Las Vegas, in her book, "In the Midst of Cowboys, Crooners and
Gangsters".
Following her modeling career, Elaine became a Realtor and continued to be a pillar in
her community. However, the positions she most enjoyed were being a PTA and Boy Scout
Troop mother at her sons' school.
