She comes from a line of Kentuckians who can hardly recall a time when they were from anywhere else; and even when her address is elsewhere, she always finds her way back home for long stretches each year. Theresa has penned pieces for a variety of publications, including large magazines and newspapers such as National Geographic Traveler, the Boston Globe, and the Washington Post, as well as more regional publications such as the Frederick News Post, San Antonio Express-News, and Chesapeake Family News. She is also the author of Moon Take a Hike Washington, DC. Theresa lives in Durham, NC.
