Informationen zum Autor Vivienne Gray is Professor of Classics and Ancient History at the University of Auckland. She is the author of The Framing of Socrates (1988) and The Character of Xenophon's Hellenica (1989). Klappentext Xenophon of Athens was a pupil of Socrates and a philosopher in his own right. He wrote two of the texts included in this volume! the Hiero (On Tyranny) and the Constitution of the Spartans.
