Informationen zum Autor Brian Davison has been winter climbing for some 30 years and has notched up an impressive list of first ascents in Scotland, Wales and the English Lake District. These include Big Daddy (VIII, 8) in Coire Sneachda, Mort (IX, 9) at Lochnagar, and Moss Gill Grooves (V, 6), Harvest (VII, 9) and Mechanical Orange (VIII, 8) all on Scafell. He has also made many expeditions overseas to such diverse areas as the Himalaya, Morocco, Greenland, Alaska and South Georgia.
