Andy Warhol, one of the twentieth century's major visual artists, was a prolific filmmaker who made hundreds of films, many of them - "Sleep", "Empire", "Blow Job", "The Chelsea Girls", and "Blue Movie" - seminal but misunderstood contributions to the history of American cinema.
