Gupidon.
Il est tombé sur une petite fleur d'Occident,
Auparavant, d'un blanc de lait ; désormais empourprée
par la blessure de l'amour,
Et les vierges l'appellent «pensée d'amour».
Va me chercher cette fleur : je t'en ai montré une fois
la plante.
Son suc, déposé sur des paupières endormies,
Rendra tout homme ou toute femme follement idolâtre
De la première créature vivante qu'il verra.
