Informationen zum Autor Theodor Seuss Geisel - better known to his millions of fans as Dr. Seuss - was born the son of a park superintendent in Springfield, Massachusetts, in 1904. After studying at Dartmouth College, New Hampshire, and later at Oxford University in England, he became a magazine humorist and cartoonist, and an advertising man. He soon turned his many talents to writing children's books, which included the creation of the one and only 'The Cat in the Hat', published in 1957, which went on to become the first of a successful range of early learning books known as Beginner Books. Klappentext 'I'm the Cat in the Hat (you have met me before). Today I will speak of the great dinosaur! ' Let the coolest cat in town introduce you to the fascinating world of nature. Written in rollicking Seussian rhyme and packed with funny pictures, 'The Cat in the Hat's Learning Library' explores the huge variety of life forms, from mammals and minibeasts to fishes and dinosaurs - looking at how animals live, what they eat, how they survive. A wonderful introduction to nature for early readers! LEARN TO READ. READ TO LEARN. Zusammenfassung “The T. Rex was strong, with teeth sharp as knives. When most dinos saw him, they ran for their lives!” And so Dr. Seuss’ Cat in the Hat introduces young readers to the fiercest of all the many extinct reptiles featured in this exciting exploration of the Age of Dinosaurs.
