Stipendiat der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft an der ETH Zürich, der Universidade de São Paulo, der Hong Kong University of Science Technology und der Universität Hannover. Ausgezeichnet mit dem Dr.-Jürgen-Ulderup-Preis für Produktionstechnik und dem Deutschen Wissenschaftspreis Logistik. Beratungsprojekte im Bereich der Fertigungssteuerung mit Unternehmen aus den Branchen Elektronik, Maschinenbau, Luftfahrttechnik, Fahrzeugbau und Bekleidung. Seit 2004 Mitarbeiter der Robert Bosch GmbH.
