Dan Graham (born 1942, lives in New York), one of today's most influential conceptual artists, questioned the autonomy of the artwork early on and re-flected on the role of popular culture in his works. Gregor Stemmrich, Professor für Kunstgeschichte an der Freien Universität Berlin. In den späten 1970er Jahren besuchte er als Kunststudent das »Advanced Media Seminar«, das Dan Graham am Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax leitete.
