Carson Ellis, geboren 1975, ist Illustratorin und Künstlerin. Bekannt wurde sie für ihre Gestaltung der Alben von "The Decemberists". Seitdem hat sie in ihrem unverwechselbaren Stil zahlreiche Kinderbücher illustriert und wurde 2010 mit der Silbermedaille der "Society of Illustrators". Carson Ellis lebt mit ihrem Mann und ihrem Sohn in Portland, Oregon.
