Description

Das insbesondere in der Finanzindustrie Ehrlichkeit keine Tugend ist, sollte mittlerweile keine Neuigkeit sein (jaja, andere tun's auch, yada-yada). In dieser Produktion kann der Zuseher so einen kleinen Blick hinter die Kulissen erhaschen, wie es im privaten & geschäftlichen Bereich bei solch äusserst notwendigen und hart knechtenden Gesellschaftseliten so vor sich geht. Ohne Korruption kommt und bleibt man nicht an der Spitze und Philantropie ist ein Euphemismus für Ablasshandel dieser Egomanen. Fazit: R.Gere ist sicher der perfekte Typus. Darstellerisch nichts aussergewöhnliches, aber eben sehr gut. Auch die Nebenrollen sind passend. Erzählrhythmus und Spannung sind ebenfalls top. Lediglich das Drehbuch hatte logische Lücken (z.B.Fahrzeughalter des Unfallwagens; warum das intensive Vertrauen zu seinem Zeugen; etc.). Insgesamt empfehlenswert.
