Description

Ontario, 1845: Having signed on with an American prospecting expedition during the Copper Rush, young Ojibway woman Angelique Mott (Julia Jones) and her voyageur husband Charlie (Charlie Carrick) agreed to remain on barren Isle Royale to defend their claim while their party went for extra equipment. The promised return never came-and the couple was left to try and survive a harrowing winter alone.
