Description

Two tween-aged boarding-school chums (Tippy Walker, Merrie Spaeth) decide to indulge their shared crush on the celebrated, self-centered concert pianist Henry Orient (Peter Sellers) by shadowing him at his Manhattan haunts. They learn some lessons as they inadvertently trash the vexed virtuoso's social life in George Roy Hill's coming-of-age charmer. Angela Lansbury, Paula Prentiss, Tom Bosley also star.

Gâcher les talents de comique de Peter Sellers, c'est un crime ! Non seulement le génial acteur n'apparaît qu'en second rôle mais encore le peu de temps à l'écran qui lui est dévolu consiste principalement à prendre la fuite ou un air effrayé...
Angela Lansbury passe elle aussi à la trappe tant son personnage est inepte - un autre gâchis insupportable.
Et la vedette ? Deux comédiennes adolescentes bien peu douées - pour rester polie - dans le rôle de deux ados stupides.
A éviter pour tout vrai fan de Peter Sellers ou de Lansbury !
