Uno stupendo e toccante film in costume ambientato in Inghilterra che parla e denuncia i pregiudizi e il razzismo nel 1700. La storia di una ragazza coraggiosa che non si è arresa di fronte agli ostacoli che la vita gli ha messo davanti.
