Pastor Dan zieht mit seiner Frau Wendy und seinen drei Kindern Rebecca, Christopher und Mary in die kleine Ortschaft Stull in Kansas. Kaum angekommen lernt Rebecca den geheimnisvollen Noah kennen. Was sie jedoch nicht ahnt, ist, dass unterhalb der Stadt eines der sieben Tore der Hölle liegt und Noah eigene Pläne mit ihr hat. Mary steht schon bald im Mittelpunkt eines okkulten Rituals. Eine dämonische Macht nimmt von ihr Besitz. Völlig entstellt zieht Mary durch die Stadt um nach unschuldigen Seelen zu suchen. Denn Blut wird benötigt, um das Tor zur Hölle für ewig zu öffnen.
