Description

Roger Hobbs sogna da tempo una vacanza insieme a sua moglie Peggy, invece lei decide di radunare nella loro casa sulla spiaggia, tutti i loro figli: Katey, un'adolescente che si sente complessata, Bob che passa intere giornate davanti alla televisione. Susan, con suo marito, il testardo Stanley, e infine Janie con il prestante Byron. Per Roger la vacanza diventa ben presto un incubo, tra maniglie che si incastrano, l'elettricità che salta, la pompa dell'acqua che decide di funzionare quando vuole, fino all'agognato ritorno a casa.
