Description

Bob Geldof is the punk musician who led a global humanitarian campaign to help feed the starving in Ethiopia during the famine of 1985. He principally achieved this through two concerts, one in London´s Wembley stadium and one in Philadelphia´s JFK stadium, raising 40 million pounds, $73 million, all of which went direct to the starving. Over 2 billion people worldwide watched the concerts.
