Description

In questa vivida immagine della vita preistorica, un uomo del popolo della pietra (John Richardson) di indole malvagia viene bandito da casa sua. Si ritrova così tra l`accogliente popolo delle conchiglie e si innamora di una dolce donna della tribù (Raquel Welch). La coppia decide di affrontare il mondo insieme, rifiutando il supporto di entrambe le tribù, addentrandosi tra orrende bestie feroci, soggetta a sconvolgenti eruzioni vulcaniche. Gli effetti speciali di questo film ne hanno fatto il capostipite del genere, un vero classico della fantascienza.
