Summoned to an isolated seaside estate on a secret assignment, Marianne (Noemie Merlant) must find a way to paint a wedding portrait of Heloise (Adele Haenel), who is resisting chattel marriage, by furtively observing her. Überzeugt mich nicht. An Psychologie muss man oft glauben, das ist wie mit dem Christentum. Provokationen produzieren nicht immer Wahrheiten, manchmal handelt es sich um Unterstellungen, was die Wahrheitsfindung voran treiben -kann-. Ist gut möglich dass Adele Haenel hier fehlplatziert ist, ich nehme ihr die Rolle nicht ab. Die Inszenierung ist ok aber die Geschichten die parallel laufen ergeben keinen grossartigen Inhalt. Das Drehbuch mag eine Palme erhalten haben, aber nicht der Film als ganzes. Ich gebe zwei Punkte um die Bewertung vor meiner auszugleichen. Da waren wohl die Interessenten der Filmindustrie selber am Werk. 5 Punkte, geht's noch? 😱 Fake Bewertungen erkennt man meist daran dass die erste Bewertung sehr früh erscheint und überragend ist - während das Produkt Meilen hinterher hinkt.
