Description

Anno 2078. Su Sirius 6B, un remoto pianeta minerario devastato da dieci anni di guerra, gli scienziati sono riusciti a creare una razza di automi autoreplicanti chiamati Screamers, destinati a distruggere ogni forma di vita nemica. Ma questi hanno continuato a evolversi autonomamente e, alla fine, hanno scelto una nuova missione: cancellare ogni forma di vita. Il colonnello Hendricksson decide di negoziare una pace separata con le forze decimate dal Nuovo Blocco Economico. Ma per riuscirci deve attraversare una terra di nessuno, dove la minaccia più fatale proviene proprio dalle armi che ha contribuito a creare.

Fan de K Dick, je ne l’avait pas revu depuis une vingtaine d’années, je n’ai pas pas été déçu de l’avoir revu en BD, le seul petit bémol, à mon goût, c’est l‘ apparition ce titre de soul/ rythm‘n‘ blues en premières partie de film, parfait casseur d’ambiance, et complètement hors propos…

meiner Meinung nach sollte man besser die Bücher von Dick lesen. Die Stories sind recht kompakt und enthalten sehr interessante Ideen und Fragen. Es gibt sicher gute Verfilmungen (Minority Report, Total recall) aber diese hier würde ich nicht dazu zählen. Dennoch sehenswert!

Dieser Film folgt der Story "Variante zwei" von P. K. Dick eigentlich recht ordentlich. Die Schlussüberraschung bleibt dann halt leider aus, wenn man das Buch kennt.
Die Mittel für diesen Film dürften nicht allzu gross gewesen sein (man fühlt sich zeitweise in einen TV-Film versetzt), trotzdem ist er nicht schlecht gelungen.
(wer Filme wie Terminator, Matrix oder Blade Runner mag, sollte seine Nase mal in die Bücher von Philip K. Dick stecken... es lohnt sich!)

die story ist nicht von dan o'bannon, sondern von philip k. dick. seine storys wurden auch für minority report, bladerunner, total recall und ander science-fictions verwendet.

Vous aimez Philip K. Dick ??? alors ce film est pour vous... fort bien adapté d'une de ses meilleures nouvelles, le climat dickien ressort très bien dans ce film.T
