Informationen zum Autor Scott L. Balthazar is Professor of Music History at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. He has lectured and published on stylistic aspects of nineteenth-century Italian opera and on contemporary theories of instrumental form in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
