Jim Pomerantz has owned six restaurants in the Chicago area during the '80s and '90s. He currently owns two restaurants in Winnetka, Illinois. After earning a First Degree Black Belt in Tibetan Llama Kung-Fu in 1991, the author began writing his first novel. This book is his second effort. Jim lives in Winnetka with his wife Mary Courtney and their four children.
