About the author

Mary C. Boys, S.N.J.M., is the Skinner and McAlpin Professor of Practical Theology at Union Theological Seminary. The well-known religious-ed theorist is the author of three books, most recently Jewish-Christian Dialogue: One Woman's Experience, as well as dozens of articles and chapters in other publications. She's a member of the Christian Scholars Group on Jews and Judaism and the Abrahamic Accord.

Summary

This book challenges Christians to re-examine their traditional belief that Christianity has fulfilled and therefore replaced Judaism. It also details the anti-Jewish bias in history, literature and liturgy, yet does it without reducing such attitudes to simplistic hate.
