About the author
Eric A. Meyer arbeitet seit Ende 1993 mit dem Web und ist ein international anerkannter Experte auf den Gebieten HTML, CSS und Webstandards. Ausserdem ist er auch Gründer der Firma Complex Spiral Consulting, die Macromedia und Wells Fargo zu ihren Kunden zählt und die sich darauf konzentriert, Kunden dabei zu helfen, Geld zu sparen und die Effizienz zu steigern, indem sie standardorientierte Webdesign-Techniken verwendet.Seit Anfang 1994 war Eric als Campus-Web-Koordinator für die optische Gestaltung der Website der Case Western Reserve University zuständig, wo er auch eine weithin anerkannte Reihe von drei HTML-Tutorials schrieb. Er war außerdem Projektkoordinator für die Online-Version der Encyclopedia of Cleveland History und des Dictionary of Cleveland Biography (ech.cwru.edu), der ersten Enzyklopädie städtischer Geschichte, die vollständig und frei im Web veröffentlicht wurde.
