David Fanshawe is a composer, explorer, ethnomusicologist, sound recordist, photographer and author. The African Sanctus is a universal work conveying a simple message of praise. Taped music is heard in couterpoint with the live chorus, solo soprano and instruments. It concludes with Dona Nobis Pacem described as a hymn for world peace.
