As former manager of entertainment staffing for Walt Disney World, Gene hired thousands of entertainment and special events professionals. Today, Gene is an associate professor with the University of Central Florida's Conservatory Theatre, and acts as visiting professor at Temple University's Event Leadership Executive Certificate Program.
