About the author

The book's authors have long been heavily engaged in the village community. Robert L. Marc Newman, a published author and research historian, has taught history in New York and Florida for more than 40 years. Orange County legislator Stephen Brescia, a lifelong resident of Montgomery, has served as the village's mayor for 20 years.
