Hector Berlioz, 1803-69, der große französische Romantiker, dessen 200. Geburtstag die Musikwelt 2003 feiert, war nicht nur ein musikalischer Revolutionär, sondern ein Meister der Feder, der wohl brillanteste Musikschriftsteller des 19. Jahrhunderts.
