About the author

Surinder Parkash, Ph.D. has over three decades of experience in petroleum refining and the related fields of process design, refinery operational planning, international marketing, and project planning. He has worked with many well-known companies and organizations such as Indian Institute of Petroleum, Iraq National Oil Company, Bahrain National Oil Company, and Kuwait National Petroleum Company. Dr. Parkash is the author of i Petroleum Refining Handbook/i , published by Gulf Professional Publishing. At present, he is president of NAFT-ASIA, an independent consulting firm.
