About the author










David Rome was editor of the Canadian Jewish Archives and the director of the Jewish Library for 20 years. Jacques Langlais founded the Centre Monchanin (now the Institut interculturel de Montréal) in 1963. Edward Hillel is a Montreal photographer, author, and filmmaker. They all live in Montreal, Quebec.
