Research and Archaeology: a Framework for the Eastern Counties

This report serves the need for a regional research assessment for the Eastern Counties, encompassing Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. The chapters look at the archaeological resources of each region, with an assessment of research agendas, fieldwork strategies and projects being undertaken for each period: Palaeolithic and Mesolithic, Neolithic and Bronze Age, Iron Age, Roman, Anglo-Saxon and Medieval Rural, Anglo-Saxon and Medieval Urban, Post-Medieval and Later.
