About the author

Nicholas Thomas Wright (geboren 1948), bekannt als N. T. oder Tom Wright, gilt als einer der weltweit führenden Theologen und Leben-Jesu-Forscher. Von 2003 bis 2010 war er anglikanischer Bischof von Durham, seitdem ist er Professor für Neues Testament und Frühes Christentum an der University of St. Andrews in Schottland. Bislang wurden ihm zehn Ehrendoktortitel verliehen. Er hat über 70 Bücher verfasst, populäre Sachbücher wie akademische Literatur. Tom Wright ist seit 1971 verheiratet, hat vier Kinder und drei Enkel.
