About the author

Naguib Kanawati is Professor of Egyptology and Director of The Australian Centre for Egyptology, Macquarie University. He has excavated a number of sites in Egypt and published numerous excavation reports on the sites of El-Hawawish, El-Ilagarsa, Deshasha, Saqqara and others.
