This is the story of a boy called Nino and of the book he is reading. A story that would be normal, with a magic book and a twelve year old boy, if it wasn⿿t because Nino is a guerrilla, he carries a machine gun which is almost as big as him and he fights for survival in the heart of the Guatemalan jungle. What Nino has seen lies in the depths of his heart. What Nino does is the cruellest thing a human being can be obliged to do.
