About the author

Michael Ochs war in den sechziger und siebziger Jahren bei Columbia, Shelter und ABC Records tätig, arbeitete als Discjockey, unterrichtete Rock-Geschichte und schrieb für Magazine wie Rock, Melody Maker, Cashbox und Crawdaddy. Er gründete Mitte der siebziger Jahre die Michael Ochs Archives mit Millionen von Fotografien und mehr als hunderttausend Schallplattenalben und Singles.
