About the author

Tania Roxborogh has been teaching secondary school since 1988. She is the mother of two girls (a teenager and a pre-teen). Tania, currently the Dunedin College of Education's Writer in Residence, is the author of twenty books including novels for Young Adults, Pre-teens, Shakespearean and English Grammar Texts, Plays and recently a non-fiction memoir Fat Like Me published by Penguin. Kim Stephenson is the Head of the Guidance Faculty at Whangaparaoa College and is the school's guidance counsellor. She has a degree in Sociology and Women's Studies, Master of Education in Counselling, has a background in Domestic Violence Support and counselling, in primary and intermediate teaching as well as being a guidance counsellor at Otahuhu College, Long Bay College and Whangaparaoa College.
