Dies ist die dritte Bearbeitung der Zygnemales in der ,,Süßwasserflora". Da die Konjugationsstadien nur selten auffindbar sind, ist die geographische Verbreitung der Zygnemales auch derzeit nur lückenhaft bekannt.
