Prof. Dr. Gudrun Wolfschmidt (Hamburg)§geboren in Nürnberg, Dissertation Analyse enger Doppelsternsysteme, Dr. §Remeis-Sternwarte Bamberg, Astronomisches Institut der Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, 1. und 2. Staatsexamen (Physik und Mathematik), Gymnasiallehrerin im Freistaat Bayern. Seit 1987 Forschung in Wissenschaftsgeschichte am Deutschen Museum in München; Konzept und Realisation der Dauerausstellung Astronomie/Astrophysik im Deutschen Museum (Eröffnung 1992, Begleitbuch 1993). 1992 bis 1995 wissenschaftliche Assistentin am Forschungsinstitut für Geschichte der Naturwissenschaft und Technik des Deutschen Museums, verschiedene Ausstellungen (z.B. Copernicus 1994), Lehre und Habilitation Genese der Astrophysik (1997) an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in München; seit 1997 Professorin am Institut für Geschichte der Naturwissenschaften der Universität Hamburg.
